On December 30th, the 13th China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Conference was held at the Beijing Convention Center. Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, Chen Zhili, Former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Wang Qinmin, 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Vice Chairman, and others. They attended the conference and delivered speeches. Leaders, experts, scholars from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Education, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other relevant national ministries and commissions, scientific research institutes, and more than 1,500 representatives from the front lines of the industry, academia and research circles across the country attended the conference.

This conference mainly commended the advanced units and individuals who have made contributions to industry-university-research cooperation, achievement transformation, civil-military collaboration, and craftsman spirit in 2019. Liu Jizhan, Researcher of our institute, won the "2019 China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award".

The China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award, approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Office of Science and Technology, is an award for the national industry-university-research community. It is selected once a year, mainly in recognition of the advanced units and individuals that have played an important role in demonstrating and driving the transformation of the economic development mode of our country relying on the support of science and technology.

Researcher Liu Jizhan’s award is the affirmation and encouragement of the industry for the scientific and technological personnel of our college’s agricultural engineering discipline who have continued to plough deep into the application research of my country’s agricultural mechanization science and technology for many years and solved the "last mile" problem of the transformation of agricultural scientific and technological innovation achievements.

After attending the 13th China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Conference, researcher Liu Jizhan went to Beijing Agricultural Information Technology Research Center for academic exchanges and gave an academic report on "Gardening Equipment Intelligence and Robotics", which mainly introduced  the research results of agricultural robots of our institute for the past ten years. After the academic report, researcher Liu Jizhan had detailed exchanges with the agricultural robots of the Beijing Agricultural Information Technology Research Center and visited the Smart Agricultural Technology Exhibition Hall of the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences.
