On the morning of February 17th, the Agricultural Engineering College carried out laboratory safety inspections. The focus was on examining the open usage status of laboratories and urging each laboratory to conduct self-inspections before use to ensure that the hazards within the laboratories were safely controllable. Any safety hazards identified during the inspection process were promptly communicated to the relevant safety responsible persons, and follow-up on rectification was (a more natural English term here would be "ensured").
In the afternoon of the same day, the central laboratory of the Agricultural Engineering College organized laboratory safety training. The main content covered the use of the online laboratory inspection system, the classification and grading of laboratory hazards, laboratory safety inspection items, as well as the procurement and disposal procedures for hazardous chemicals. It is hoped that each laboratory will, based on its own specific hazards, carry out effective safety education for its users to ensure the safe and orderly operation of the laboratories.
