On the morning of April 30, the School of agricultural engineering invited Professor Wang Xinlei of UIUC to give a special report entitled "graduate education at UIUC" at 1026 LEIYU building. Zhou Jun, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the college, and representatives of undergraduates and postgraduates attended the meeting. This report is presided over by Xu lizhang, vice president of the college.

Professor Wang Xinlei introduced the discipline and specialty of the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and combined with examples, focused on the training objectives of postgraduates from the aspects of formulating long-term planning, paying attention to research methods, cultivating teaching ability and improving social responsibility. At the same time, Professor Wang Xinlei also introduced the joint training program of Illinois Champaign and our university and its advantages. Professor Wang Xinlei answered the students' questions about the specific conditions for applying for going abroad, the arrangement of classes and courses, and the safety of living abroad.
